I have been in love with Eclipse cards ever since I saw one online this past Christmas. So when I finally had time to make one, I was excited. Once I got started, I couldn't stop so I made the one above for my granddaughter's upcoming birthday and the one below for my Stampers Club ladies.
I wanted to see what one would look like with a slightly different color scheme so I stamped out one more...
I almost didn't post the third card because the letters are not all straight. But then I decided I should post it to let you see how important it is to make sure the letters are aligned correctly before you run them through the Big Shot.
I realized after I made the video that I didn't talk much about the Large Letters framelits (#141712). You can use letters or shapes to make an eclipse card but I like the idea of being able to make different words. Some of the words that could be used would be Hope, Wish, Hugs, XOXO and Love. Can you think of more? Leave a comment with your ideas.
If you use a 6" x 3" card layout, you may be able to fit five letters if they are not real wide (i.e. "M" or "W"). If you have the Large Letters framelits, get them out and play. If you don't have them and want to add them to your crafting supplies, I would love to invite you to my ONLINE STORE.
