Houseful of Cards Class

Did you enjoy the Open House Tour?  Would you love to make a house of your own?  I have scheduled two classes and you are invited to attend the one that fits your schedule best. 

"Houseful" of Cards Class

February 22 or March 22 at 6:30 pm

Prepayment by the 17th is required.  The class will include four cards and the House Box made from our beautiful Sweet Pea Designer Paper (may vary from samples shown). The house we will be making in the class will be a "single family dwelling" but you can personalize it at home if you wish.

In addition to making the House Box and the cards, you will receive the house pattern and a PDF document with at least 30 house samples to give you lots of inspiration and help you build your own "neighborhood".  To register, just click the PayPal link below and be sure to indicate which class you want to attend.    If you are unable to attend, you can choose my class in the mail option with shipping included .... see the drop down menu below.  If you have questions contact me at 410-479-4348 or by email to carolyn@oh2bstampin.com.

Note:   Pattern is only available with purchase of kit.  If you are interested in attending the class or purchasing the kit but do not use PayPal, feel free to contact me to make other arrangements for payment.

• Sticky Strip to hold your house together
• SNAIL Adhesive to hold all other pieces together
• Paper Snips to trim card stock and ribbon as needed
• Paper-Piercing Tool and Mat Pack to poke holes for Brads
• Stamp Set of choice for stamping images and sentiments, the Happy Moments Sale-A-Bration Set available for FREE with a $50 merchandise purchase is used here and highly recommended
• Basic Black Classic, Basic Brown Classic, Basic Gray Classic, or Jet Black StazOn Ink Pads to stamp images and sentiments
• Blender Pens or Aqua Painter with Classic Ink Pads OR Markers to color in images

For those of you who do not live on the Eastern Seaboard, you may have no idea that the coast is getting SLAMMED with a monster snow storm.  We could get up to 30" where I live!  Personally, I have never seen this much snow and hope never to see this much snow again in my lifetime!!  Because our area seldom gets more than a few inches at a time, we are not equipped to handle it and will be a loonnnnggg time shoveling out.  The last time this area saw anything remotely like this was in the year 1922!!

Anyway, I say that to say  this...

I am having to reschedule the dates of some of my classes and clubs, and while doing so, I noticed a few conflicting dates on my calendar.  I decided it would be best to rewrite my CLASS SCHEDULE so if you have downloaded a copy of my class list in the recent past, please be sure to discard that one and print the new updated list HERE.

RemARKable Open House Blog Tour

RemARKable Open House Blog Tour

Welcome to the Remarkable Open House Blog Tour.  Today you will take a tour of the Remarkable Stampers neighborhood.  As you "walk" around the block, keep your eyes open for the Bird House, the Dog House and the beautiful Garden Shed.

Announcing the Open House Blog Tour

BUTTERFLY HOUSE OF CARDS

Do you like Blog Tours?  If so, you are going to LOVE this one!  The Remarkable Open House Blog Tour starts on January 4th and will feature the cutest little card box you've ever imagined.  The Open House Blog Tour was the creation of a fun group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that were gathered at an incentive event at Jan Wakeland's called RAD. 

One of the ladies attending, Jill Hilliard, created a Christmas Cottage and filled it with cards and all of a sudden, everyone got the fever.  Using the same pattern, we started to create dozens of different "houses" including a Wedding Chapel, a Garden Shed and MANY more.

Spread the Love Class

Do you have a special love in your life?  These "LOVE" banners make excellent gifts to share with that special someone this Valentine's Day or anytime.  Want to make one for that someone special in your life?

I love the Big Shot and enjoyed making these "Love" Banners.  The pink one does use one retired stamp, Painted Posies, that says "All you need is..." but you could substitute is or leave it out.  You could also make a sentiment on your computer or here's a few additional suggestions:

 

How about attaching a glassine envelope and Sending Love Note on the back of each circle with special messages to the recipient telling them the special reasons that you love  them.  Then you could type a sentiment "What I ... LOVE ... about you".

 

The banner could say "LOVE is spoken here"  and be hung in an entrance way.

 

Or "LOVE bears all" and add a Build a Bear to the banner.  With this idea maybe you could create the banner horizontally and put bears on a circle at each end.

 

How about "Life Happens...LOVE helps."  You get the idea...use your imagination to make it personal to you.

 

 

 

 

Kind Thoughts Card Kit & Class

Totally Techniques Class Samples

I love the Dancer stamp used to make this card.  The reindeer is cute  yet elegant and I find that such a unique combination.  This card was made in my Totally Techniques series as a sample of the Masking Technique.  The next class in this series will be in February.  If you love learning techniques, check back for an upcoming class list to be posted soon.

I always teach two techniques at my Totally  Techniques class and make a technique page to accomodate each card so that my customers have a resource to refer to when they want to use the technique again. 

This is the second card that we made using the Personalized Plaid technique.

An Awesome Swap Card

I received this awesome swap card at the Remarkable Hot Retreat last month in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  The card was created by Sherri Eddleblute and it was one of my very favorites.  I think I might have to "case" this card for my upcoming Totally Techniques Class!!
