Christmas Club/Class

 

 

Do you wish every Christmas that you had started to prepare months earlier?    Do you enjoy making  Christmas cards that are unique and personal?  Do you like getting together with other ladies to stamp and chat?

 

If you answered yes to any of the above,  

the Christmas Club/Class   

is for YOU!  

 

The Christmas Club/Class will start Monday, July 18^th

with additional classes on 8/29, 9/19, 10/17 & 11/21 at 6:30 pm each evening.  If there is enough interest, I will also host a daytime class too so please let me know if this is something you would prefer.  

 

You do not have to be a club member to participate but club members who commit to attend all 5 classes will also receive:

·         A free catalog or $10 gift certificate

·         An opportunity to participate in a free raffle each month

·         A special "deal of the month" the night of class

   

Worried about missing a class?  Don't worry!   

There will be one make-up class on November 17^th at 6:30 pm.   

 

Don't live close enough to attend?   No problem! 

For the first time ever, I am going to offer this class in a long distance format.   

All card stock, embellishments and instructions with photo of card will be included.   

You will need to supply your own stamps, inks and tools.  As a long distance attendee, you will receive a 10% off discount on all orders that exceed $35. 

 

Cost is $25 per month for 5 months.  We will be making 12 cards every month (4 cards each of 3 designs) so if you attend all 5 class, you will create 60 cards.  Envelopes will be included.

 

Classes must be paid for at least 7 days in advance...cash, check or PayPal.

For long distance participation, you will need to add $5 for shipping and handling.

This cute Valentine treat bag can be filled with a miniature candy bar and is similar to the type of project the Big Shot members will make in the free classes.  It uses the Top Note Die, Love you Much stamp set and the Scallop punch, Large Oval Punch and 1 1/4" Circle Punch.

Stampers Club

 

This is one of the cards we made at Stampers Club this month.  It uses Pacific Point, Baja Breeze and Green Galore ink and cardstock and the Kind Thoughts stamp set.  The card is embossed with white craft ink and white embossing powder on Cardstock Vellum.  I love the outcome!  It reminds me of a stained glass window.  I'm seeing a lot of potential with this technique and can't wait to use it again and again.

This is the original card that I made as a template for the above card.  It also uses the Kind Thoughts stamp set with Riding Hood Red, So Saffron and Tangerine Tango ink.

Here is another project from the September Stampers Club.  This card uses the One of a Kind stamp set and the Boho Blossoms punch along with some of the new In Colors...Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red.  The unique fold of this card made it fun and fresh...hard to see in the picture.

THE BIG SHOT IS A BIG DEAL!

On August 21, I invited my customers to my home for a Catalog Reveal Night.  The new catalog is fantastic, and because I wanted everyone to have one, I gave a free catalog to each person who attended the event.  Thirteen people attended.

Each person made a small scallop envelope perfect for gift cards, chocolate squares or specialty teas.

SU! has partnered with Sizzix and designed the exclusive BIG SHOT die cut machine.   Even if you already own a die cut machine, this one will do so much more!   All dies and embossers from any manufacturer will work in the Big Shot.  Stampin’ Up! is introducing 10 exclusive dies as well and has added 30 of the most popular Sizzix dies to our product line.  This machine is designed to be used with over 50 different types of material!

Why a club?  How many times have you purchased a new tool only to have it sit around because you are not sure how to use it.   I will train you on the uses of your Big Shot if you purchase it from me!  At each club meeting, we will make 3 projects using the Big Shot, so you will get hands on training.  The meetings will be held on the 3^rd Tuesday of December and January.
