Imagine the Digital Possibilities

I have been having so much fun playing with My Digital Studio this past week.  With the release of the new My Digital Studio catalog, I was inspired to check out all the possibilites I have available at my fingertips.  I have enjoyed this software ever since I received it FREE at a Stampin' Up Convention but lately I have been rediscovering it in more depth.

Here's a few fun things I have made this week...

   

1) A page of gift certificates I can use to reward my hostesses  

 

 
2) A cute thank you "hybrid" card to send to my hostesses when they help me share Stampin' Up with their friends and family.  (A card that combines digital and traditional elements is referred to as a "hybrid" card.)

The traditional card on the left is where I got my inspiration for the card I created  with My Digital Studio (on the right). I printed the retired My Sweet Pea Designer Paper which was a download that I recently added to My Digital Studio.  I stamped the sentiment and used the Big Shot to create the tag and added the flower element and ribbon.  

 

          

3) A sheet of images that I can use on the Easter cards we made in some of my April workshops.

(I downloaded a digital version of the new Easter Blossoms set found on page 17 in the Occasions mini catalog.  I love the fact that you can resize the images to make different projects.  I used a smaller version of this element to make some 3"x3" thank you notes too.  You can also print the image out in over 50 different colors!)

4) A pack of monogrammed cards to give my hostesses

My Digital Studio Family Album

I absolutely LOVE the My Digital Studio software that Stampin' Up! carries!!  The first project  I made using it was a Family Album documenting the first 25 years of my marriage.  In that time we had two children and below are two pages in the album that I dedicated to them. 

 

 

I am not a big scrapbooker...not because I don't love doing it but because time is an issue for me.  With My Digital Studio, I have options available that make it quick and easy.  There are pre-made templates that can be used which allows you to make pages in just minutes...literally.  With the drag & drop feature, you can click on a photo, drop it into the template, add the wording and you are DONE!  You can print the page on your printer, have it sent to our professional printer or just store it in your computer.

I'm MDS Certified!!

I got the news from Stampin' Up! that I am now an Official Certified Trainer for My Digital Studio so if you have any questions, please let me know.  It was a lot of fun becoming certified. I was required to complete several types of projects such as a scrapbook page, calendar page and greeting card so it gave me the opportunity to see all the potential that this awesome program has.  I can't wait to do more.  The interactive aspect of creating a photobook on DVD has me very excited. 

My only grandchild lives in Sweden and one of my next projects is definately going to be to create a DVD of photos I took of her during my last visit to Sweden, put them in a photobook, then read each page to her.  When she clicks on the page, she will be able to hear my voice reading to her.  As I am very anxious to help her master the English language, I am thinking what better way than to use My Digital Studio to help me.
